Tiger Woods has said that there is every chance that he will be fit for the U.S. Open. Woods has been using crutches and wearing a protective boot on his left leg to ensure he will be fit.
But the 35-year-old remains doubtful for the Memorial Tournament that starts on 30 May in Dublin, Ohio, according to the Golf Tuition Cheadle website.
Woods said: “I feel that, in the next week or so, I can start practicing pain free. That’s where I’m at.”
To Woods’s relief doctors have not mentioned the possibility of further leg surgery.
