Sergio Garcia loss to Kim freshen up his memory of the Valhalla golf course

The PGA championship gets underway in a week’s time and the pundits of the game set sights on various players who have the tendency to win it this time along. This year the PGA Championship is to be played at the Valhalla. The course is one of the most renowned courses of the golfing world and many players have found it difficult to cope with it. Sergio Garcia is among such players who have come out saying that it is really difficult to cope with the course and he finds it difficult playing over in this course and score some good shots. Garcia is among the favourites of winning this PGA tour as he is coming recently from being runners up in the recent Open championship. This is one of the biggest reason why he stand a great chance of winning this year’s PGA Championship and is considered as one of the favourites to win it easily.

His past records of the course claims a different story as this has not been a good hunting ground for him he has faced many failures on this course and this is the reason why he came out stating that this is one of those tracks which is not liked by him. The most recent defeat for him in this golf course was way back in the year 2008 when he played here in the Ryder cup. People saw him lose against Anthony Kim. He lost to him in both 5 and 4 in a singles match of the Ryder cup and thus the ghost of his loss still haunts him. He would surely be looking to get over the defeat he faced against Anthony Kim this time and will make sure that the golf course enters his favourites list once the PGA championship gets over.
